LONDON: Tottenham said on Tuesday Robbie Keane’s appeal against a red card issued during last Sunday’s 3-2 home Premier League defeat by Birmingham City had been rejected by the Football Association (FA).
Spurs captain Keane (pic), 27, was ordered off when, after he’d scored twice at White Hart Lane, he received a straight red card for a diving tackle on Birmingham’s Fabrice Muamba.
