Our athletes can achieve 10-gold target, says Karim

IN the absence of three gold medal prospects and injuries to several athletes, it will be rather difficult for the Malaysian team to fulfil the 10-gold medal target set by the Malaysian Amateur Athletic Union (MAAU) for the Korat SEA Games. 

Mohd Robani Hassan will be not defending his title in the men’s 110m hurdles as he is down with a hamstring injury while Sahahadan Jamaluddin, who won the men’s 400m hurdles in the 2005 Manila Games, is out after injuring his knee in a road accident.
