PETALING JAYA: Taekwondo exponents Che Chew Chan and Elaine Teo made it a historic day for Malaysia when both made the cut for the Beijing Olympics in the Asian qualifying tournament in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday.
It is the first time Malaysia earned the maximum quota spots for the womens taekwondo competition in the Olympics since the sport made its debut in Sydney in 2000.
