Hariff out to beat the odds to help Malaysia win a medal


KUALA LUMPUR: Asian Championships gold medallist Hariff Salleh has just recovered from fever. And he hopes to defy the odds to help Malaysia win a medal in the 4km team pursuit event of the Sultan Azlan Shah Asia Cup championships, which begins today at the Kuala Lumpur Velodrome. 

The 19-year-old, who returned from Kunming on Wednesday after one-month training stint, said that he did not train for few days because of the illness.
