Calm before the storm for our juniors in Auckland

PETALING JAYA: After enjoying light workouts for the past two days, it will start to get tough from today for the Malaysian shuttlers in the KLRC World Junior Championships at the Trusts Stadium in Auckland.

Top seed Mohd Arif Abdul Latif ousted Boris Ma of Australia 21-11, 21-12 in the third round yesterday to set up a match today against South Korean Kim Sa-rang. In the same quarter is 2006 Asian Championships gold medallist Tago Kenichi of Japan, who is seeded sixth.
