KUALA LUMPUR: The Champions Trophy hockey tournament in December will be hosted by either Malaysia or India following a FIH (International Hockey Federation) decision not to consider Spain as one of the candidates.
The tournament was supposed to be played in Lahore from Dec 1-9 but the FIH withdrew it from Pakistan because of security reasons, which led to the withdrawal of Olympic champions Australia and Asian Games winners South Korea.
