McLaren driver confident of winning title despite dwindling lead

ISTANBUL: Briton Lewis Hamilton remained confident he is still on course to become the first rookie to win the drivers world championship despite suffering a setback in the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday.

The 22-year-old sensation scrambled fifth place after looking set for third spot behind the Ferraris of Brazilian Felipe Massa and Finn Kimi Raikkonen until his right front tyre burst with less than 15 laps left at Istanbul Park.
