PETALING JAYA: Malaysia's top junior Low Wee Wern easily secured a place in the second round of the girls' Under-19 competition of the Dutch Junior Open at the Frans Otten Stadion in Amsterdam on Thursday.
Wee Wern, who was the runner-up in the Pioneer Cup in Cologne on Tuesday, thumped Sally Skaarenborg of Denmark 9-3, 9-0, 9-1 in the first round. The Penangite who is the best Malaysian hope for the title will meet Sina Wall of Germany in the second round.
