ALOR STAR: Perlis will begin ticket sales for the FA Cup final from today.
The tickets priced at a flat rate of RM10 will be sold from 2pm today at the ticketing booths at the Stadium Utama in Kangar.
Perlis FA vice-president Adzmi Saad said that 15,000 tickets would be put on sale in Kangar.
“I know that Kedah have a bigger fan base and will most likely outnumber the Perlis fans at the final.
“Therefore, I urge all true Perlis supporters to come out and purchase tickets. We need their support and I advise them not to wait until the last minute to buy tickets in Batu Kawan,” said Adzmi, who is also the team manager.
Meanwhile, Kedah will only sell their allocation of 15,000 tickets from tomorrow beginning at 10am at the Darulaman Stadium in Alor Star.
While the Perlis FA are pleading with their fans to show their support by coming out in huge numbers and purchase tickets, the Kedah FA are worried there might not be enough tickets to go around.
The Kedah FA, who are accustomed to getting sell-out crowds at their home matches, urged their fans to come out early tomorrow or risk missing out on the short trip south for the state's first FA Cup final in 11 years.
The FA have also advised fans in the state's southern districts to purchase their tickets in Batu Kawan on match day. About 10,000 tickets will be put up for sale at the State Stadium.
