KUALA LUMPUR: Kedah sensationally claimed the sepaktakraw gold on the final day of the second National Womens Games to cap a highly successful championship that saw a total of four national records set three in weightlifting and one from athletics.
Kedahs Noor Fairuz Azizan, Nurrashidah Abd Rashid, Idayu Ismail and Siti Hajar Zakaria, who have only been training for a month, upstaged their more fancied opponents from Kuala Lumpur to bag the last gold medal of the Games.
