KUALA LUMPUR: Johor’s Siti Fatimah Mohammad crowned herself as the fastest woman of the second National Women’s Games but it was policewoman Chuling Attay who stole the limelight on the opening day of the track and field event at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil here yesterday.
Siti swept to victory in the 100m senior event with a record breaking time of 12.00 seconds but her efforts were overshadowed by the jumping prowess of Chuling with two gold medals, one in the long jump and another in the high jump and both in new Games records.
