Shah Alam may lose host job due to pool’s poor water quality

PETALING JAYA: The Amateur Swimming Union of Malaysia (Asum) are contemplating replacing Shah Alam as hosts for the Malaysian Open championships because of persistent problems with the water quality of the pool in the Darul Ehsan Aquatics Centre.

The first leg of the SportExcel national junior circuit was called off last weekend because of high chlorine content in the Olympic-sized pool.
