BERNE (Switzerland): The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has upheld Chelsea’s appeal in their case regarding the club’s former player Adrian Mutu.
Chelsea appealed to the court after world soccer’s governing body FIFA said they did not have the jurisdiction to impose financial sanctions on Mutu following his admission in October 2004 that he had taken cocaine.
