Asian chief only wants MU tour to be re-scheduled, not cancelled

KUALA LUMPUR: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) president Mohamed Hammam (pic) has reiterated that they have done no wrong on their part to withdraw support for newly crowned English Premier League champions Manchester United’s tour of Asia during the July 7-29 Asian Cup Finals.

Hammam said at a press conference at the AFC House in Bukit Jalil yesterday that they were not looking for any conflict with any parties and were just honouring their part of the bargain when the FA of Malaysia (FAM) had requested for the host job in 2005.
