Garlic not to J-League’s taste


TOKYO: Japan striker Kazuki Ganaha was banned for six games yesterday for taking a garlic intravenous infusion to cure a bout of influenza. 

The Kawasaki Frontale player was put on an IV drip by the J-League club’s doctor last month in violation of the Japanese league’s anti-doping rules.
