SHEFFIELD (England): Former champion John Higgins moved to within a frame of the World Championship quarter-finals at Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre on Sunday.
Higgins could be joined in the last eight of the tournament by Allister Carter, who also stands on the brink of victory in his match against seven-time champion Stephen Hendry.
