SHAH ALAM: Table-toppers Selangor put themselves in the driving seat to qualify for the Malaysia Cup quarter-finals from Group A when they thrashed Johor PBT Pasir Gudang 3-1 at the Shah Alam Stadium last night.
Striker Mohd Safee Sali put the homesters in front in the 12th minute before P. Gunalan and Mohd Amri Yahyah added the other goals in the 40th and 77th minutes respectively. Tempo Masauso netted a consolation goal for Johor PG in stoppage time.
