SANTIAGO: Chile’s football stadiums are unfit to host World Cup qualifiers, FIFA representative Alvaro Gonzalez said.
Chile have designated Santiago’s National and Monumental stadiums for the 2010 qualifying competition, which is due to start in South America later this year, but Gonzalez said after inspections that both needed modernising.
