BUENOS AIRES: Diego Maradona was improving on Sunday, the fifth day of his hospitalisation for treatment of alcohol abuse and problems blamed on excessive eating and smoking.
The 46-year-old Argentine football hero “is making good progress,” said a statement issued by doctors attending Maradona at the private Guemes Clinic.
