RANCHO MIRAGE (California): Paula Creamer shot a tournament-best 67 on Friday to join Lorena Ochoa at the top of the leaderboard after the second round of the Kraft Nabisco Championship.
Bidding to become the first American winner of a women's major since 1999, 20-year-old Creamer is tied with Mexican Ochoa on four-under 140. Ochoa, who shot a 71 on Friday, will take over from Annika Sorenstam as world No.1 if she wins today.
