Bangladesh’s win over Bermuda eliminates Sachin & Co

PORT OF SPAIN (Trinidad): Bangladesh made history when they qualified for the World Cup second round with a seven-wicket victory over debutants Bermuda on Sunday and eliminated mighty India in the process.

It was Bangladesh's best-ever performance in the tournament since making their Cup debut in England in 1999. They failed to go beyond the first round in England and then again in the next edition in 2003 in South Africa.
