Challenge ends for Malaysia at the German Open


PETALING JAYA: Malaysia's challenge in the US$80,000 German Open badminton tournament in Mulheim ended on Friday following the defeat of national doubles pair of Chan Chong Ming-Hoon Thien How in the quarter-finals. 

Chong Ming-Thien How went down 21-13, 17-21, 14-21 to Indonesia's new senior-junior combination of Sigit Budiarto-Fran Kurniawan in 45 minutes.
