PETALING JAYA: The Bursa Malaysia Berhad and UPB-MyTeam celebrity line-up are scheduled to play a fund-raising football match in aid of the Johor flood victims at the Kuala Lumpur Football Stadium in Cheras on Feb 22.
A specially formed Bursa Malaysia football team, called the Bursa Bulls, will take on the Premier League side.
The Bursa Bull will feature Dollah Salleh, Mat Zan Mat Aris, K. Rajagopal, Azlisham Ibrahim and Tang Cheng Hoe and other corporate personnel who will “pay to play” on the team.
The UPB-MyTeam line-up will include UPB-MyTeam president Khairy Jamaluddin, deputy presidents Jason Lo and Ruben Emir Gnanalingam, Air Asia’s group chief executive officer Datuk Tony Fernandes as well as team coaches and former players – Bojan Hodak, Khan Hung Meng and Rashid Hassan.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 7.30pm and is open to the public for free.
Donation boxes will, however, be placed at the stands for them to contribute.
