PETALING JAYA: The National Sports Council (NSC) feted the Doha Asiad athletes to dinner last night and paid out rewards totalling RM2.2mil for their achievements at last December’s Games.
Malaysia had a haul of 8-17-17 and of the amount, RM1,748,000 was given to 62 athletes from 14 sports for winning medals. The coaches received RM332,000 and the managers got RM166,000.
