KUALA LUMPUR: Former national junior defender Baljit Singh Gill was unable to answer a call-up to national training for the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup tournament last May because he had to sit for his matriculation examinations.
Now that he has completed the course at the Bukit Jalil Sports School (BJSS), he will not only join training, which begins today at the National Hockey Stadium in Bukit Jalil, but will also strive to become a permanent figure in the team.
