THE world’s top tennis players have opted for vivid fluorescent tones to get themselves noticed at this year’s Australian Open and ditched the baby-doll nightie look that dominated in 2006. 

So far the main fashion statement has come not from the women, but on the men’s side of the draw, where American Zack Fleishman dyed his hair red, white and blue in a fit of patriotic fervour before playing local hero Wayne Arthurs.
