ROME: Valencia striker Francesco Tavano signed a six-month loan deal with AS Roma on Thursday, replacing Vincenzo Montella who earlier in the day was leased to England’s Fulham.
Roma paid Valencia 580,000 euros for Tavano’s rights through the end of this season. Roma have the option to make the transfer permanent for another 10mil euros (US$13mil), but must decide by May 1.
