Milan’s Borriello suspended after dope test

ROME: AC Milan striker Marco Borriello has been suspended after testing positive in a routine doping test, the Italian Football League said in a statement.

The League’s disciplinary commission said Borriello was suspended with immediate effect following an announcement from the anti-doping agency of the Italian Olympic Committee that the forward had failed a test carried out after Milan lost 2-1 at home to AS Roma on Nov 11.
