THE snooker pair of Moh Keen Hoo and Lai Chee Wei failed in their bid to end an eight-year-old medal drought for Malaysia when they lost 1-3 to Thailand’s Atthasit Mahitthi-Phaithoon Phonbun in the playoff for the doubles bronze at the Al-Saad Multi Purpose Hall on Tuesday.
After battling it out for over two hours, the Thai pair overcame a spirited challenge from the Malaysians by taking the fourth frame.
