THE Malaysia men's hockey team stayed in hunt for a place in the semi-finals after twice coming back from a goal down to snatch a 2-2 draw against hard-running Japan in a Group A match at Al-Rayyan Hockey Field yesterday.
Malaysia, who also drew with seven-time champions Pakistan (1-1) in their opening match, will now have to win their remaining two matches against Hong Kong today and Taiwan on Sunday to have a chance to advance to the semi-finals.
