KUALA LUMPUR: Faridul Masri missed the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in March because of health problems and he will be out to make up for that disappointment in the Ninth Fespic (Far East and South Pacific) Games, which begin here on Saturday.
The 25-year-old Faridul hopes to contribute to Malaysias medal tally through shot putt, discus and javelin in the amputee category of the Games for the disabled.
