LONDON: Ghana-born American teenager Freddy Adu has taken a step closer to playing in Europe after starting a two-week trial with Manchester United, the BBC reported on Monday.
The 17-year-old, touted to become one of the stars of the game since his earliest years, was given permission to attend by his Major League Soccer club DC United.
