PETALING JAYA: The chances of the national eventing team taking part in the Doha Asiad equestrian competition looks bleak at the moment because they still do not have enough funds.
The riders for eventing, which is a combination of dressage, cross-country and show-jumping, are Category B athletes in the Malaysian contingent and their expenses to compete in the Games have to be funded by the Equestrian Association of Malaysia (EAM).
