PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian junior badminton team’s hopes of reaching the mixed team final of the World Junior Championships ended yesterday with a 1-3 defeat at the hands of mighty South Korea in Incheon.
However, lanky Lydia Cheah managed to steal the show by toppling Korea's senior national player Jang Soo-young 17-21, 21-13, 21-14 for the only Malaysian point.
