Battling Mathieu unmasks Serbian teenager

PARIS: France's Paul-Henri Mathieu won a marathon Paris Masters second round clash against Novak Djokovic yesterday leaving the beaten Serbian teenager to regret his decision to enter the court sporting a Zorro-style mask.

Mathieu, who squandered a two-set lead in the decisive rubber of the Davis Cup final against Russia in the same arena in 2002, clinched a third round clash against either compatriot Sebastien Grosjean or Spanish sixth seed Tommy Robredo with his 7-6 (13-11), 7-6 (7-4) win.
