LINZ: Mary Pierce (pic), who collapsed on court with a serious knee injury at the WTA event here, will be out for six months following surgery, her fitness coach said yesterday.
The 31-year-old former Australian and French Open champion fell heavily after her left knee gave way while playing Russia's Vera Zvonareva in a second round match on Thursday.
