PETALING JAYA: Datuk Syed Aidid Syed Murtaza has decided not to seek re-election as the Malaysian Amateur Athletic Union (MAAU) president.
The incumbent president would have faced a three-cornered fight with Perlis Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim and deputy president Datuk Laksamana Danyal Balagobal.
