Sarawak FA president Dr Abdul Rahman quits

KUCHING: Sarawak’s preparation for the new season in the Super League has run into a snag following the sudden resignation of their FA president, Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi.

Dr Abdul Rahman said yesterday that he tendered his resignation at the FA’s exco meeting on Tuesday night but denied that the decision was due to the failure or frustration of the team not winning a trophy during his tenure as president from 2004.
