PETALING JAYA: Shuttlers Mohd Roslin Hashim and Wong Mew Choo kept alive Malaysia’s challenge when they reached the men’s and women’s singles semi-finals of the US$300,000 Korean Open in contrasting styles in Seoul yesterday.
Veteran Roslin, the player least expected to shine, showed some of his old brilliance to tame Thailand Open champion Chen Yu of China 21-8, 21-17 in only 35 minutes in the quarter-finals of the six-star tournament.
