LABUAN: Singles shuttlers Mohd Arif Abdul Latif and Goh Liu Ying both chalk up a first in the national schools (MSSM) championships, emerging as the Under-18 champions in Labuan yesterday.
After playing in every category in the championships for the last five years, the 17-year-old Arif finally claimed his first title, beating Lim Fang Yang 20-22, 21-16, 21-13 in the boys' singles final.
