SEPANG: Defending champion Toshiyuki Hamaguchi failed in his bid to regain the lead in the SuperSports 600cc class of the FIM Asian Road Racing Championships when he was disqualified in the second race of Round 3 at the Sepang circuit here yesterday.
The Japanese had won the first race in the morning and came from behind to win the second race.
