PETALING JAYA: A total of 21 players were banned up to three matches and were fined between RM500 and RM2,000 for various red card offences by the FA of Malaysia (FAM) Disciplinary Board yesterday.
Ndongo Mpessa of Malacca Telekom was the hardest hit. He was fined RM2,000 and slapped with a three-match suspension for elbowing an opponent in a Super League match against Selangor MPPJ at the Stadium Hang Jebat on May 23 this year.
