PETALING JAYA: Malaysia's Daniel Bego (pic) brought his campaign in the Asian Schools Swimming Championships to a perfect end by chalking up a personal best in the boys' 100m freestyle event and anchoring the team to a gold medal in the 4x100m freestyle event at the Kowloon Park Swimming Complex in Hong Kong yesterday.
Daniel stopped the clock at 52.04 in the final to beat Singapore's Russell Ong to clinch the gold in the blue riband sprint event, smashing the previous record of 54.11.
