KUALA LUMPUR: School teacher Petrina Low Lai Hun, who has been widely recognised as being responsible for the promotion and development of rhythmic gymnastics in the country, was chosen as the winner of Olympic Council of Malaysia’s (OCM) Women and Sport Award at the Fourth Annual OCM Awards at the Istana Hotel here yesterday.
Petrina, 52, who has served the sport as coach, technical official, team manager and event organiser from school to national level, received the award consisting of a challenge trophy and a certificate from the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Fauziah Al-Marhum Tengku Abdul Rashid.
