HOYLAKE: Hoylake will not have to wait another 39 years to host its next British Open after making a successful comeback as a venue for the world's oldest major.
By all measures, the 135th Open Championship, won by Tiger Woods on Sunday, was a success and there was widespread praise from the players for the Royal Liverpool links, which last hosted the Open in 1967.
