MALACCA: Kuan Beng Hong and Wong Mew Choo lived up to their top billings but came through in contrasting fashion to pick up the men's and women's singles title at the Malacca Open Badminton Championships at the State BA Hall in Tengkera here yesterday.
Beng Hong took only 32 minutes to down gutsy Yeoh Kay Bin 22-20, 21-14 to win the top prize of RM4,000.
