ALOR STAR: Penang veterans hockey captain and former national player Ooi Boon Chuan passed away while competing in the national veterans championship for the Tan Sri P. Alagendra Trophy at the Hijau Kuning Sports Complex yesterday evening.
The 49-year-old player collapsed on the pitch in the 29th minute of the match against Kuala Lumpur.
