NSC to issue ‘athlete passport’ by end of the year

KUALA LUMPUR: By year-end, all national athletes will have a “passport” bearing their personal particulars and achievement record to enable the National Sports Council (NSC) monitor their performance.

NSC Director-General Datuk Dr Ramlan Aziz said the passport, probably in the form of a notebook, would be known as “Athlete Passport” which was initially intended to be issued for doping control record purposes.
