Darshan: Asia face shortage of women cyclists


KUALA LUMPUR: The Sultan Azlan Shah Track Asia Cup will be held at Velodrome Rakyat in Ipoh this weekend, but it is still facing a shortage of women competitors. 

Tournament organising committee chairman Tan Sri Darshan Singh said he expected less than 10 women cyclists from Asia to take part in the three-day event which starts on Friday at the newly-laid 250m timber track of Velodrome Rakyat.
