Rain washes out fourth’s day action

GROS ISLET (St Lucia): India hopes of victory may have been dashed, and West Indies' chances of salvation enhanced, when not a ball was bowled on the scheduled fourth day in the second Test on Tuesday.

Persistent showers drenched the Beausejour Cricket Ground throughout the day, and West Indies, following on 373 runs behind on first innings, were offered respite from the eager Indians.
